Daisy and Violet Hilton, attached at the hip, were stars of the film "Chained for Life" and the Broadway musical "Side Show," but died so broke that they're buried in someone else's grave.

- Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Northwest edge of the city. I-85 exit 34, then west on Freedom Drive/Hwy 27 for a little over a mile. The Cemetery will be on the left. Section M, Row 6, and two stones in from road near cedar tree. Look for a large, dark gravestone near the road with "Gulley" as its name; the next row contains the Hilton Sisters' grave, which is engraved "Thompson" for Troy Thompson.

Your map point for the grave points to the office of the cemetery, not the grave site. All directions are valid, but look for large dark gravestone near the road with "Gulley" name. The next row contains their grave.

I'd like to add to all the other helpful folks' descriptions: at the third intersection, turn right and go all the way to the tree line. The grave is on the left side of the street and there are woods on the right. The mausoleum will be in front of you. There are two angel figurines on the grave.

Took a little while to find! When you enter the cemetery, go straight and it's the third right turn. The mausoleum is back to the right, and the grave is on the left, six rows up, second one in. There were some small angel statues and flowers, along with a recent looking picture on the grave.

After driving around for more than an hour in the cemetery, I knew I needed to share more information on where the grave is actually located within the cemetery. The headstone of Troy Thompson and the Hilton sisters is before the mausoleum on the lefthand side. [The engraved side of the tombstone faces away from the 1-story white building.] We could not find any markers that indicated the sections.
