Washington and Jefferson College is a small liberal arts institution in Washington, Pennsylvania. It was founded as two schools, Washington College and Jefferson College, but because of low enrollment after the Civil War the two schools combined.
Large statues of both presidents were commissioned and installed in 2006. They were created by Ohio artist Alan Cottrill and each is about 13 feet tall.
