There's a historical marker nearby, but you're not allowed in the median.

- Directions:
- The marker is on the northbound side of US-301, about nine miles north of Bowling Green or 2.5 miles south of the intersection of US-17.

There is a new historical marker on northbound Highway 301, a mile or so south of the Route 17 intersection. However, it appears that the path that leads to the site has been closed off. Just north of the marker, in the median, is a "No Access" sign and a chain between two trees, preventing people from walking back to the site of the former house.
