Buffalo, New York: The Gun That Killed President McKinley
Crazed assassin Leon Czolgosz used a .32 caliber revolver hidden under a handkerchief to shoot President William McKinley at point blank range. The gun is displayed in the Buffalo History Museum, as is the ball and chain Czolgosz wore at his trial. Sometimes the gun, for conservation reasons, is replaced with an exact replica.
