A sixteen-foot, 3,700-pound rocket replica honoring the USA Moon Mission is on display at the intersection of State Road 29 and County Road CC. Spring Valley receives 450,000 visitors a year to view the rocket along with other attractions. The local attractions include the Spring Valley Dam, Crystal Cave, Cady Cheese, Spring Valley Golf Course, and the 130 year-old Iron Ore Smelting Tower. The Spring Valley Dam is one of the largest earthen dams in the world. The Smelting Tower is believed to be one of the largest and oldest iron ore smelting towers still in existence.
