Confederate flag is not there as of 2/24. Other states flags are around the central flag pole as seen from the road.

Very isolated location of an old cemetery and a Confederate memorial.
[Jaynie, 01/05/2022]The cemetery behind this memorial is Pierce Family Cemetery -- my grandfather.s family. The small walk though at the top is the site of the home of John Pierce. He was the first farmer/settler there. I believe he came from Louisiana, originally from France. He was a fur trapper/farmer.

Is it something that should be memorialized, I'm not so sure. But still interesting. The flag is quite large, and you are being watched by satellite.
