Sad news: the brewery is removing bottles and going to cans only. Meaning the Laverne and Shirley bottling line will soon be lost to history, just like the Shotz Brewery.
[Ron Renken, 02/09/2023]We did the Lakefront Brewery Tour in June 2021. They didn't mention Lavern and Shirley at all, even though a picture of them hangs in the first room we were in. It's still a fun tour. Be sure to book ahead.
[Lisa, 07/22/2021]The placing of a glove on an assembly line bottle -- as seen in the opening credits of the 1970s sitcom -- is still promoted as part of the brewery tour.
