We did the Lakefront Brewery Tour in June 2021. They didn't mention Lavern and Shirley at all, even though a picture of them hangs in the first room we were in. It's still a fun tour. Be sure to book ahead.

The original bottling line used in the opening credits was in the Schlitz Brewery. After it closed, the bottling line was purchased by the owners of Lakefront Brewery. It is used daily and can be seen during the tour.
[Ron Renken, 02/11/2020]The tour includes a rendition of the theme song from the 1970s TV show, and guests are invited to drop gloves over the moving bottles just like Milwaukee icons Laverne and Shirley did in the opening credits. Nov. 2020: Photo added.
