I turned onto Tarpis Ave and parked in the parking lot directly across from the house so I could have a better look at it. It was after business hours for the shop's lot. I don't know that it really looks like a mushroom or beehive, but it is certainly unique.

Don't remember where I heard about this, but I had to go see it for myself. Very unique house in the Hyde Park suburb of Cincinnati. Not only does it resemble a beehive, but they have all kinds of other crazy stuff on the house as well. I believe it is a private residence, so I doubt you will be able to see the inside.

The Mushroom House was built out of junk over a ten-year span by architect/art professor Terry Brown, who called it "an extension of transcendentalism." He used dozens of his students as labor. In August 2012 it was for sale for $350,000.
