It's entirely worth getting a car wash here. There are animatronic yellow mannequins throughout the car wash. Terrifying/awesome.

The cartoon mascot of the Russell Speeder's car wash chain is a guy in a yellow rain slicker with matching yellow hair, waving a cheerful greeting. Russell Speeder's worked with the designers at F.A.S.T. Corp. to make a fiberglass version of it, 20 feet tall. It's memorable in many ways, from its bug-eyed, energy-drink-fueled grin to the unnatural, slicker-smoothed contours of its arms and legs -- and it slowly rotates on a pipe that appears to be stuck up its rear end.
But, hey, the purpose of the statue is to get travelers to pull off the road (and maybe get a car wash), and by that standard it's a terrific success.
