A carved wooden eagle stands next to a road, over ten feet tall with outstretched wings that span 16 feet. Also here: large cement lions and a naked "Mother Nature" with wings.

Wooden-Winged Woman and Eagle
The eagle statue is in the middle of a little pond with goldfish swimming around. It's part of a sculptural assembly ("The Woman: The Power of Mother Nature"), including two lions and a wooden carving of Jesus. A lovely and unusual sight.

I liked the Big Wooden Eagle statue, and the cactus was blooming.
[Eileen, 06/09/2013]Big Wooden Eagle
This is one big eagle. It stands over ten feet tall with a wing span over 15 feet. It has 23 feathers on each wing. Truck drivers will often stop and take pictures by the eagle as they drive by. There is no admission charge; all you need to do is stop on the street and the big eagle will tower over you.
