Nowhere to pull off the road to stop and see the station. Parking lot was blocked off as well.

An old gas station has been preserved as a museum along old Highway 21, in the 1930s a main conduit between the Great Lakes and Florida. H.R. Umberger's business, the "Lakes to Florida Service Station," thrived through the 1950, until the road was rerouted through Wytheville and bypassed by I-77.
