Large fountain sculpture depicts a 25-ft. tall Father Time watching as a mass of 100 human figures shuffles by. The sculpture by Lorado Taft (who is among the figures) was dedicated in 1922.

Just east of the University of Chicago, this monument stands. It was dedicated in 1922, and sculpted by an artist from Elmwood, IL, Lorado Taft. The artist wrote about it: "I saw the mighty crag-like figure of time leaning upon his staff, his chin upon his hand and watching the endless march of humanity."
