Tin Woodsman

The late John D. "Pete" Morris built a 13 ft. tall, 750 pound replica of the well-known character from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in August, 1989 in order to attract visitors to his Log Cabin Corner cafe south of Laverne, Oklahoma. The Woodman moved to Colorado in 2006. In 2011, the Woodman returned to Oklahoma and is now located at the Cimarron Heritage Center Museum in Boise City, Oklahoma.
