Canby, Oregon: Vietnam Era Statue and Helicopter
Dedicated in 2011, a bronze statue of a marine, accompanied by a Vietnamese child, carries a soldier towards a Army medical Huey helicopter suspended above the plaza. The memorial has several nods to Asian culture, including a giant Shou symbol, and a Buddhist bell.

Along Highway 99E in the center of Canby, Oregon, there is a real helicopter suspended in the air. This helicopter is the centerpiece for a Vietnam Era Soldiers Memorial. Below the helicopter is a helipad with a bronze statue of a soldier carrying a wounded person and a child following behind.
