A larger-than-life bronze head of radio host Rush Limbaugh was inducted into the Hall of Famous Missourians in 2012, in a closed-door ceremony guarded by state police. Only 41 Missourians have met the hall's standard for fame, including President-for-a-day David Rice Atchison, game show host Bob Barker, Mutual of Omaha's Marlin Perkins, and shopping mall namesake J.C. Penney. According to the director of communications for the Missouri House of Representatives, Rush's head is the only one with its own security camera.
