Building very popular for decayed ambience location shooting, most notably 1982's "Blade Runner," when it was really falling apart. Renovated since, but the familiar central atrium and first landing are open to the public.

Blade Runner Movie Location
The Bradbury Building was built in 1893. Slip in through the doors and check out its dramatic style of ornamental cast iron, polished wood, fine marble, and a full skylight. It is breathtakingly gorgeous. History says the architect sought advice from his dead brother using a Ouija board before he started the project; apparently the brother told him the building would make him famous....
[Deb Miller Marschke, 02/27/2018]The signs may say to stay on the first floor, but if you leave a "donation" of a few bucks with the security guard he'll let you take the steps up a few flights up in this Parisian inspired wrought-iron greenhouse. Not sure how much a ride on the open cage elevator would set you back. Just keep those arms and legs inside at all times.
