Something blue dripping from the ceiling at Chicago's Midway Airport? Nah -- it's a sculptor's topographical version of Lake Michigan, viewed disorientingly from below. The translucent fiberglass piece was created by artist and college professor Todd Slaughter from 1999-2001, and installed in 2002. The scale is 1:230 using USGS measurements, and the sculpture is 28 ft. long and 14 ft. wide.
