An extremely cool piece of artwork. Inside are two public bathrooms completely covered with mosaic art. A true one-of-a-kind experience. Check out the other artwork and do the scavenger hunt while you're in town.

The public restrooms in Lucas feature stunning mosaic artwork symbolic of various items flushed. Folk, grassroots, outsider art.
[K. Miller, 06/16/2013]The quirky town of Lucas, population 400, is famous for its Grassroots Art. Because 15,000+ tourists visit each year, Lucas needed public restrooms. Not being like most towns, Lucas made their restrooms a piece of art. The building is shaped like a toilet tank, its entrance is shaped like a raised toilet lid, the benches in front of the building are curved like a toilet seat, and the sidewalk in front undulates like an unspooled toilet roll. The inside walls are all mosaics created by local citizens.
[Cindyrella, 06/04/2012]A raffle was held June 2 to see who would have the honor of "First Flush."
