Covina, California: Giant Olmec Head
7-ton head of an Olmec, a Mesoamerica civilization known for sculpting giant heads, is a relatively new fixture in Jalapa Park. The head was donated in 1989 by the former sister city of Jalapa, Mexico. The Olmec sat in front of the Covina police HQ for 20 years.
