- Maffeo Sutton Park. Take Hwy 1/Trans-Canada Hwy into downtown. Just south of the bridge turn east onto Comox Rd, then quickly left onto Cliff St. Park and walk east into the park. The statue stands on the north end of the bridge across the lake.

Mayor Frank Ney is immortalized in bronze, standing atop a rock, dressed in the gaudy pirate costume he would wear during the town's annual bathtub race, which he created in 1967.
