The Cotton Museum
The Memphis Cotton Exchange, restored to its late-1930s heyday. Essentially a big room, populated with a few dummies in action poses. Highlight is the huge trading chalkboard above a line of wooden phone booths.

The Cotton Museum
The Cotton Museum was very informative and a neat place to visit. They had things for both adults and kids to enjoy. We had a great time.
[Claros Clan, 08/23/2013]Where the US once held their historic cotton trade now holds a museum where you can learn all about the history of cotton and also about slavery and music. There is a little gift shop and some interactive displays for kids as well.

The Museum occupies the trading floor of the old Cotton Exchange, now populated with dummies in action poses. The can-you-lift-a-full-bag-of-cotton? exhibit is particularly memorable (ouch).
