Cold-War-era package store and tavern, the oldest freestanding bar in Las Vegas. Still has its vintage Atomic Liquors neon sign. Displays inside as well, including a light-up mushroom cloud and the favorite seat of Barbara Streisand.

Atomic Liquors has liquor license #001 in the City of Las Vegas. We visited in the afternoon, so it was very low key, with a friendly bartender and a couple other tourists stopping in for a cold drink on a hot day.
Inside you find radioactive signage, a vintage juke box, a cool light-up mushroom cloud, and the seat/space frequented by Barbara Streisand. Although word is she hasn't been in for quite a while.

Most definitely worth a trip! All kinds of fine whiskey and bourbon for the tattooed-covered patrons. Atomic Liquors doesn't really crank up until late.
