Abilene, Texas: World's Largest Paper Airplane (Gone)
Nearly 30 feet long, it's a wood-painted-to-look-like-paper replica of an origami F-15. July 2018: Reported out of commission after a bad storm.

- Sparhawk Art Gallery and Bed and Breakfast. The plane is visible from the street at the end of a gated driveway (Call ahead if you want to see it). The driveway is on the south side of S. 1st St. just east of the FINA gas station at the corner of 1st and S. Leggett Drive.

Sadly, we have to let you know that as of today, and after a bad storm in our area, the plane is out of commission, and we don't know when repairs can or will be made. We would not want to disappoint travelers with broken down remnants of what used to be a respectable roadside attraction.
[Deborah Leeson, 07/09/2018]At first we were apprehensive because there was a gate at the entrance. But the groundskeeper let us in and we were able to take photographs. The location of the paper airplane was not suitable for our needs but we had an unexpected pleasure of meeting Donovan, the owner and an artist of the establishment. He welcomed us into his gallery and shared his magnificent portrait artwork. His medium is pencil and he is an exquisite artist.
