Stopped by and was lucky enough to see Mark building in his workshop. He was super kind and took time out of his day to give me a personal tour. My dog has an Instagram account (the_gryphon_mom) and he even took the time to take pictures with him.

Mark Cline is the best.

Couldn't see much from the road in winter, but still pretty cool. The alien spider now resides at Dinosaur Kingdom II down the street.

T.rex head and soldier.

Mark [Cline] is strange but nice. He asked if we had "the wizard's broom" so we could come in. We got a lot of good pictures, and there are a lot of interesting things inside.

We recognize that dummy in the T.Rex jaws -- it's what's left of a beleaguered Union soldier from Dinosaur Kingdom!

We just happened past this, on the way to another roadside attraction. The gates are closed and it is obvious that it is still not ready for the public, but you can see a couple items over the fence. He has a building permit on the gate, so perhaps he will be back soon.

[Kay, 09/09/2014]

The Enchanted Castle Studios hasn't officially been a tourist attraction for several years. It's the workshop of fiberglass artist Mark Cline, so only open when he's there, working. He usually allows people to walk around and take pictures if they ask permission.
