22 feet tall, a rusty steel longhorn bull stands just off the highway. Built by Joe Barrington, its official name is "Bridle Bit Bull." It can be seen for miles.

[Kelli, 07/13/2020]This is really cool. Statue is located exactly where County Road 236 meets Hwy 380, and about one mile west of where Ranch Road 222 intersects Hwy 380.

We found this large steel Longhorn on the north side of US 380 between Throckmorton and Haskell. It can be seen for miles.

The statue's official title is "Bridle Bit Bull," and it was created in 2011 by Joe Barrington, who also made the World's Largest Buffalo Skull in Abilene. The bull, posed as if sniffing the air for cows, is made of rusty steel and stands 22 feet tall.
