Tin Man and Petaluma Pyramid
Standing proud in his solitary vigil, the tin man ponders as a rusty tyrannosaur assaults the pyramid.
[Martin "Bucky" Cameron, 07/15/2014]Tin Man and Petaluma Pyramid
A Tin Man in the late stages of decay stands bow-legged in a makeshift wagon, on top of a trailer with two rusting dinosaur creatures with genuine animal skulls. The Tin Man's heart is green, perhaps because he is an environmentally responsible Tin Man. Inside the business gates is a pyramid, about 20 ft. tall, made of old wood.
Heritage Salvage specializes in "reclaimed building materials," so some of what's seen in their 3-acre yard are obvious examples of repurposing ingenuity. They acquire old wood from collapsing barns, buildings and other structures, finding new homes for it in the construction ecosystem, also making new furniture and items to order.
