- Just off I-65 exit 2. Drive north on Main St./US Hwy 31W, then make a quick left at the first stop light onto Steele Rd. You'll see a McDonald's on the right, and ahead on the left you'll see a log cabin building with a red roof. The marker is just before the building, next to its parking lot.

Not as hard to find as previously posted. It is in the parking lot of the Simpson Co. Tourism cabin, right across from the Southwestern Grill. There are also hand-painted murals of the history of Franklin, Kentucky on the fence beside the UFO marker.
