Covington, Kentucky: Replica of Jesus's Tomb
Carved into rock by a Baptist pastor in the late 1950s. Other Holy Land replicas as well. You can wander the grounds any time, but to get into the buildings (and tomb) you must make an appt for a tour.

- I-71/I-75 exit 191. Drive east on 12th St./MLK Blvd for a quarter-mile. Turn right at stoplight onto Holman Ave. Drive a half-mile. Turn right at stop sign onto W. 16th St. Drive until the street ends. Turn right onto Monroe St., then make first left onto Edgecliff St. Drive up the hill. After the street makes a sharp left, you'll see a parking lane on the left and a path leading up the hillside.

We were lucky and visited while a caretaker was on-site; he opened the tomb and chapel for us and pointed out things we should see.
Be very careful on the steps...stairs are uneven and the railing isn't always where you think it's going to be.
