Eastbound: The Golden Stripe

I drove by this -- well, over it, yesterday. The gold stripe now goes across all of I-90. the eastbound rest stop is closed due to road work. Not sure about the westbound rest stop. There was a sign about road work ending in October 2024.

The Golden Stripe is not there anymore. According to the ranger I spoke to, when I-90 was repaired, it was removed as they felt it was a distraction. All that is left is a plaque outside the rest area.

We contacted MnDOT and they confirmed that the Golden Stripes are still there, although they might not be very visible on a bright, dry day.
