[B LJ, 10/20/2019]This retreat was the vision of my good friend Bob Tellier. Bob passed away in 2010, but his dream lives on. I have been here many times and every time I am touched. I was lucky to know Bob, and Carol still is a good friend. Just remember that even though visitors are welcome, it is Carol's home.

This is a Judeo-Christian refuge that proclaims the word of God beautifully in stone. So peaceful and unique! Definitely worth the trip!

Living Stones is a substantial arrangement of pillars and rocks with King James bible scripture carved on them. The monuments of the non-profit Living Stone Foundation are mostly created from quarry rejects. Sez their website: "Is it not ironic that this rejected stone is exactly what Jesus was referred to (1 Peter 2:4) and what we are also?"
