Valley Homes - The Home Giant. Apparently the company is out of business and the property is for sale. The sign of Valley homes the giant is holding is broken and falling apart. The Big Guy needs a paint job himself. The area of Pahrump, NV is doing O.K. and there is new growth in that specific area - so hopefully, he will get a NEW HOME!

Valley Home appears to be out of business, and the sign is falling apart. The people at the gas station just down the street don't even know that it exists.

I visited Pahrump recently to see the Texaco Big Friend. He stands in front of Valley Homes at 1400 South Highway 160. While taking photos, I happened to walk around behind the sign, and learned the horrifying truth about this poor Big Friend -- HE'S BEEN PROBED BY ALIENS!

A once proud Mufffler Man [RA: actually a Texaco Big Friend] now sells new houses for Valley Homes in Pahrump NV. His arms are empty, but ready to cradle a new house. His hat looks like he should be a member of Robin Hood"s merry band of thieves. Maybe he is.

- I-55 exit 140. Drive west into town. At the stop sign turn right onto SW Arch St. You'll soon see the Hot Dog Muffler Man on the left, and a half-block beyond it, on the right, is the Texaco Big Friend.
