Pyramid of King Tut the Dog

King Tut was the mascot of the Southern Illinois Salukis, and is buried beneath a small pyramid at the entrance to Saluki Stadium.

Installed in 2010, two giant concrete Sphinx-like Salukis (noses still intact) sit high atop the stairway guarding the entrance to SIU Arena and watching over the Pyramid Tomb of King Tut the mascot.
