Scarred wall.

Fontanel Mansion

This 27,000-square-foot log cabin is the former home of county singer Barbara Mandrell. Our tour guide was a dead ringer for the former owner. Actual furniture still occupies the home. Massive indoor pool and shooting range. This house was the setting for the filming of the reality show, "Gone Country." We were allowed to touch everything and even laid in Ms Mandrell's canopy bed. We got to try on a jacket left behind by a very well-known male country singer. The story told is that he jumped off the balcony into the pool and broke his foot sending him to the hospital and leaving his jacket behind. Also, the shooting range walls were extensively damaged by another well known male singer who went wild with an AK 47.
