The park is at the foot of the old (and decommissioned) 1913 bridge, which was widened in the 1930s. By the late 1970s the old bridge had fallen into disrepair, and a replacement was built. The statue depicts the new motor car from the city and the old horse-drawn wagon from the farm attempting to coexist on the narrow roads, but the cars sometimes spooked the horses.
Parking is across the street on top of a hill and a pedestrian bridge takes you to the area.

Directions provided here are perfect! Park in the lot and walk to the bridge or down the path to get closer pictures. It was extremely cold and windy when we stopped, so our pictures are from a distance.
