We stopped by for a coffee-to-go just to go inside Angel's. They have partially covered parking. Inside they have 45 rpm records on the wall and shirts for sale. The few locals inside were a bit friendly. The biscuits did look delicious.

Florida's Oldest Diner is just on the west side of the St. John's River in Palatka.
[Stacy Sharp, 11/15/2019]For an authentic Old School roadside meal, you can't beat Angel's. Make sure to try their house specialties: the Pussalow (chocolate milk with added vanilla syrup, served over crushed ice) and the Black Bottom Sandwich (a mix of hamburger, egg, and bacon served on a bun with burger toppings). A meal for two typically will be in the $10-12 range.

Palatka is a quaint town with gas-burning street lamps. The diner is adorable. Basic diner food and the old fashioned ice cream shakes are great!

Real life old time diner. Built in an old railroad dining car, open since 1932. Checkerboard floors and a jukebox. Drive-in curb service if you want to eat in the car.
