Crystal Springs, Nevada: Extraterrestrial Highway Sign
Way out in the middle of the Nevada desert, the well-visited "Exterestrial Highway" sign is almost entirely covered with stickers and magnets. Highway was given its name on April 18, 1996.

- Directions:
- At the split of Hwys 318 and 375. I-15 exit 64. Drive north on US Hwy 93 for 85 miles. Turn left onto Hwy 318/375 and drive three-quarters of a mile. The sign is in a little parking area between the two highways as they split. Caution: This sign has been stolen in the past, so you may drive all the way to see it and be disappointed.

I've been to this sign several times over the years. I was there in early July 2020. The original sign has been replaced by a much taller sign. Even as high as it currently is, people have climbed the sign to put stickers on it. Still a great stopping place along ET Hwy.

There are two Extraterrestrial Highway signs. The second one is right outside of Rachel. It's just as stickered-up, but it has more of an epic, vast, core-for-miles alien-rich landscape behind it.
