- Atop a small strip mall at the corner of 14 St. and 25 Ave. SW. From downtown Calgary drive west on 6 Ave. Past 11 St., the second lane from the left exits to 14 St. southbound, looping under the bridge, with a stop then a yield to get onto 14 St. As you reach the top of the big hill, watch for a brown/grey two-story office block. Turn right into the parking lot immediately past the pair of spruce trees, and Spider Beetle will pop into view. If you reach the Esso/7-Eleven at the stoplight, you're one block too far south.

Spider Beetle was displaced by a condo development in 2017, then re-homed five blocks north circa 2019 on the roof of a strip-mall Starbucks. Dark grey these days, but it has a habit of changing colors every few years.
