Strolling Jim grave.

Grave of Strolling Jim, Tennessee Walking Horse

The hotel is in foreclosure, abandoned, and in a state of decline as of June 2017. You can still park there, walk through an overgrown (when we were there) field out back and find the grave marker (along with a more recent one for a dog) near someone's backyard shed. The stable appears to be gone.

Of note is the Walking Horse Museum across the street, which is free admission, with a donation optional.
