None of the tiny churches listed on Roadside America were close enough to our route for a detour on our recent cross country trip -- but I was hoping we'd find one anyway, and I wasn't disappointed. The Fellowship Roadside Chapel is so small that even I thought I spotted it while we were driving, and we made a U-turn, it took us a minute to find it again even though it's right at the intersection. While we were celebrating our good luck, the builder came by and offered to tell us about it. He said he was inspired by a tiny church in Iowa that he used to take his kids to whenever they were on a road trip. They looked forward to it so much that he wanted to make one of his own as soon as he got some land. Living the dream!
