In the suburb of Brookfield is a small subdivision named The Shire. It is located just off of Brookfield Road, on Rivendell Drive and Brandywine Lane. At the entrance to this subdivision, instead of a guard house or gates, is a small hobbit hole-type building resembling those seen in the Lord of the Rings movies.
