Train on Main Street

Train traffic goes right down the middle of main street in downtown LaGrange. You can sit in your car and almost reach out and touch the train as it goes by up to 20 times a day.

[C. Stumpf, 01/31/2013]

Most towns split by a rail line have a median and strip of land separating rail and road, so this does seem a bit unique. If you value your hands, keep them inside your car. Oct. 2013: Photo added.
