[Terry Birley, 09/10/2004]In the last few weeks for all the spring high school proms and upcoming weddings, the big muffler man on top of the Western Tire and Appliance store has had a banner hanging at his feet which carries an advertisement for a local formal wear store. It reads, "Gingiss Formal Wear... We have your size"

I would like to confirm the Muffler Man on top of the Western Tire and Appliance Store in Farmington New Mexico . The store's slogan is "The store with the big man on top." The Big Man has been there for at least the last twenty years . At Christmas time it is dressed as Santa Claus.
