Okeanos sculpture.

Scripps Turd

A large, abstract sculpture reminiscent of a giant turd. It was commissioned in 1987 for $200,000, then in 2001 it was moved from its spot in front of the Scripps Green Hospital to an office park at a cost of $40,000. The artwork, Okeanos, by artist William Tucker, was initially lauded by some critics, but it was soon dubbed the "Scripps Turd" by hospital staff and patients.
