This is one of my late father's carvings. He created many, all over the world, sometimes only signing them "L.H.," which stands for Laban Harper. Born in the small town of Burney, California, he used to create snow sculptures, and made his first appearance in the local paper in the early 1980s for sculpting Jesus and Mary out of snow. He was an amazing person who traveled his whole life, creating works of art everywhere he went, for everyone to enjoy.
