Rock-a-billy Park

A former vacant lot had been turned into a tribute to rockabilly, with a stage, a big guitar sculpture, and 2,100-square-foot mural of Carl Perkins and Paul McCartney.

Rockabilly Museum and Rockabilly Park

The museum and park are both closed now as the owner, Henry Harrison, has passed away and there are no heirs to carry on.

Much of the collection was moved only two blocks north, to the Legends of Tennessee Music Museum on College Street.

Okay, it's a small thing, but the owner is incredible and well worth the visit just to talk with him. He was personal friends with Perkins, Elvis and more from childhood and is rich with memories!
