Peter Toth, a Hungarian scuptor, began carving Native American busts out of indigenous trees in the early 1970s and has sculpted at least one for each state and Canadian province. This bust of Chief Junaluska was Toth's 55th Native American sculpture. It was installed in 1986 in Metro-Kiwanas Park (not to be confused with New and Old Kiwanas Parks on Apple maps), and is very well preserved. It's in the best condition of all the Toth's we've seen.
