Knott's Berry Farm - Joe still in jail

Last time I looked, Sad Eye Joe is still in jail at KBF. Has been since the early 1940s. He will still talk to you and answer your questions.

Knotts Berry Farm - Vague Recollections

Does anyone remember the tall building that had a window with a woman's leg hanging out of it? And the leg would kick and kick? I think you would hear screams (the woman) and the leg would rhythmically kick the side of the building; it had bloomers and some bright red crinoline or something, very 1800s. It was there when I was really little, and it scared me to death!

There was also an exhibit that had a spooky looking dummy sitting in it (was he in a jail?) and he would talk to you. Some guy was hiding somewhere, and he could see you but you couldn't see him. He would talk in a microphone, and tell you what you were doing and what you were wearing -- it was always creepy. That sort of thing would never fly these days, but in those early days of TV, it was fun! The thing is, my mom told me that she had seen this exhibit when SHE was a girl -- so we're talking the early to mid 40's! How long was that exhibit there, and when did they remove it?

Knott's Berry Farm- Haunted Shack/Mystery Spot

I visited Knott's Berry Farm today and was very saddened that the haunted shack once in the ghost town, which was one of those Mystery Spots, is now leveled. All that is left is a vacant lot.
