350 year old Adobe house (the plaque says 1646), sitting on a Pueblo ruins foundation at least 800 years old. Small museum display, gift shop. Has an "Oldest House" plaque on its outside wall.

This place is closed on Tuesdays. Tuesdays, y'all. There's a marker that clarified the western portion is what was found to be the "oldest" home, in quotes like that, too.

It re-opened in April 2015. Free admission. Helpful staff. Nice gift shop. Parking next to house, too. A good addition to a visit to the mission across the street.

The oldest house in the U.S. is an adobe structure in downtown Santa Fe, circa 1646. The doors and windows are so small to both combat the desert heat and because people were smaller back then.
