The food and milkshakes are the best! Def worth the trip for the food and the interior. Always find something new every time I go to the Papermoon Diner!

Papermoon Diner: Crazy Art Eatery

My wife and I found this place thanks to Roadside. The inside is trippy in the best of ways, and the food was great. Lots of relics of childhood glued to other relics of childhood. Or to a mannequin.

Papermoon Diner

This is one of the first weird things I ever knew about Baltimore. It has a special place in my heart. Both the outside and inside are decorated to the max, leaving no white space to speak of. Painted mannequins, bizarre collections, and plants growing out of toilet bowls will catch your eye as you drive by, begging you to enter. I encourage you to do so. The food isn't gourmet, but that's not why you're there.

It has its own parking lot, which isn't common for restaurants in the city, so take advantage of it and take photos like tomorrow is the end.

Papermoon Diner

The Paper Moon Diner is where Roadside America eats! We didn't have time to interview anyone, but it would be worth a trip by a Roadside America writer to get the full story. Also the food is amazing!

[Sarah Gowan, 04/07/2013]

Papermoon calls itself a "technicolor dining experience." Its outside and inside, packed with visual ephemera and visionary art, is indisputably multichrome.
