The whole place is crazy "art," most for sale.

Went here in 2014. The artist is an elderly, retired real estate agent who moved from North Dakota to Georgia in 2000. Art is not his main source of income; he makes it so he can sell it for a cheap price to make someone happy. Therefore, most of his works are under $50. He is almost always in his studio (which is three converted portapotties smashed together) and loves it when kids ask him questions. He has what he calls "Mini Me's," so fish art will still exist when he goes to a better place.

This roadside gallery and indoor/outdoor store is a must stop! My husband and I spotted it on our way into Tybee Island and spent over an hour in sheer awe looking at all of the visual delights crammed into the front yard display and inside and behind the store.
A former outdoor advertising artist, this man became a fish artist in 2000 and makes fish out of everything imaginable -- tennis rackets, metal trash can lids and rake ends, even guitars -- that he picks up from dumpsters, yard sales, or that are given to him by people. He does ask for a $1 donation in a container by the door if you just want to take photos, but it's guaranteed to be the best dollar you'll spend on the entire island!
